Wi-Fi Protected Access-Enterprise wifi is a wireless security mechanism designed for small to large enterprise wireless networks. It is an enhancement to the WPA security protocol with advanced authentication and encryption.
Configuring WPA2-Enterprise for Windows OS
1. Setting Up a New Network. Go to the control panel, then under setup network go to manual configuration.
2. Modify the Wi-Fi Connection. Go to change connection settings.
3. Configuring Certificate Authentication.
4. Authentication with EAP-TLS. .
5. Enable certificate enrollment.
WPA2-Enterprise deployment includes installing a RADIUS server (or establishing an outsourced service), configuring access points with the encryption and RADIUS server information, configuring your operating system with the encryption and IEEE 802.1x settings, and then connecting to your secure wireless enterprise.
